The AYHL has a meticulous process to select, train and develop its coaches. We understand that quality coaching is at the forefront of player development and therefore have created a comprehensive process and plan to qualify, hire, train and develop our coaches.
COACH SELECTION
Coaching applications will be accepted from January 1st to June 30th. Qualified coaches will be interviewed and then screened to ensure they comply with the AYHL's coaching standards. To apply to be a coach, please click below.
HDC provides its AYHL, HSL and Academy Coaches with pre-season coach training to ensure they are fully prepared with regards to development goals philosophy and expectations.
COACH DEVELOPMENT
HDC's Coaching University was developed for AYHL, HSL and our Academy Coaches as a means to facilitate long term coaching development and mentorship. Coaches will complete modules designed to capture the essence of great coaching.
